The Rigging Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a hardworking Helper Mechanic to assist our mechanics with inspection, maintenance, and repair of trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery.
Responsibilities include supporting preventive maintenance, oil changes, lubrication, and replacement of basic components. You will help check engines, brakes, tires, and hydraulic systems while preparing tools and parts and ensuring safety.
The Rigging Corporation is looking for a hardworking and reliable Helper Mechanic to assist our mechanics in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of company trucks, heavy equipment, and other machinery.
Assist mechanics in the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of trucks and heavy equipment.
Assist in preventive maintenance and routine servicing of vehicles and equipment.
Help perform oil changes, lubrication, replacement of filters, belts, hoses, batteries, and other basic mechanical components.
Assist in checking engines, brakes, tires, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other equipment components.
Prepare and organize tools, spare parts, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Assist in the proper dismantling, cleaning, installation, and assembly of mechanical parts.
Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping of the workshop, tools, and equipment.
Assist mechanics during on-site repairs and equipment breakdowns when required.
Report any observed mechanical defects, unusual noises, leaks, or other equipment issues to the assigned mechanic or supervisor.
Follow proper safety procedures when handling tools, machinery, and equipment.
Maintain proper care and safekeeping of company tools and equipment.
Perform other duties related to mechanical maintenance as assigned.
At least High School Graduate; vocational or technical training in Automotive, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
Previous experience as a Helper Mechanic, Automotive Helper, or similar position is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment maintenance is an advantage.
Willing to learn and develop mechanical skills.
Knowledge or exposure to trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment is an advantage.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
Hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Willing to work overtime and on-site when required.
Able to follow instructions and work effectively with mechanics and other team members.
