Job Summary

The Rigging Corporation is looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanic to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company vehicles, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, good problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Perform oil changes, brake servicing, battery checks, tire replacement, and other mechanical repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools properly and safely.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Coordinate with the Helper Mechanic and other team members during repair work.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow company safety policies and proper maintenance procedures.
• Report major mechanical issues and parts requirements to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties related to mechanical maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; vocational or technical training in Automotive/Mechanical Technology is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical manuals and instructions.

• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work.
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
