Job summary

QSJ Motors Phil.Inc. in Pangasinan is seeking a skilled technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair, and service trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.

You will work with diesel engines and heavy-duty systems, use diagnostic tools, and keep accurate repair records. The role requires physical fitness, willingness to work overtime, and adherence to safety and company policies. This is an on-site role in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; vocational/technical automotive course is an advantage.
• Experience in truck or heavy-duty vehicle repair preferred.
• Knowledgeable about diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform mechanical work.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Repair and replace defective or worn-out parts and components.
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs.
• Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, and other scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and identify potential safety and mechanical issues.
• Ensure all repairs are completed properly and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and properly maintained.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
