Job summary

FAO Philippines is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and MIS Specialist for a 3-month project based in the Philippines. The role focuses on MEAL planning, data analysis, and managing Kobo Collect and BI tools to support rebuilding livelihoods in Cagayan province.

The incumbent will ensure baseline and endline data, indicators, and gender-disaggregated results are integrated into the project MIS, with strong collaboration across partners and field teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Statistics, MEAL, Economics, Agriculture or related field.
• At least five years of MEAL, data analysis, data visualization, or information management experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Filipino language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide MEAL guidance for project indicators, reporting and learning.
• Develop and manage data collection tools, baselines, and monitoring plans.
• Ensure gender-disaggregated data and inclusion in reporting and dashboards.
• Support data extraction and MIS updates to facilitate aid disbursement.
• Conduct training for staff on data collection tools and MEAL processes.
