Advanced Energy is seeking a Purchasing Clerk in the Philippines to support timely delivery of materials and components for electronics manufacturing. You will collaborate with suppliers, planning, warehouse, and production teams to monitor open orders, resolve shortages, and expedite critical deliveries to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferably with less than 1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Material Planning, Procurement, or Logistics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar) is preferred but not required.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills and data analysis capability.
• Understanding of supply and demand concepts.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and update delivery commits of open purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers on critical and overdue orders.
• Manage and address shipment discrepancy – short shipment, price parity, etc..
• Escalate supply issues, delays, and risks to responsible buyers and relevant stakeholders within purchasing.
• Track and communicate material availability updates to internal teams.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to address shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain ERP system updates and accuracy for delivery dates, order status and part/supplier parameters.
