Middleby Philippines Corporation in Biñan, Laguna, seeks a Material Planner to ensure steady production by securing timely material availability, accurate BOMs, and reliable supplier coordination. You will develop inventory schedules, monitor stock levels, manage orders, and generate regular reports while collaborating with Procurement and production teams to minimize shortages and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
• Experience in MRP (Material Resource Planning).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
• Strong Mathematics and Statistics skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Self-managed and results oriented, with a high level of productivity.
• Ability to work well under pressure and is flexible.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
• Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
• Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
• Utilize Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system and ensure data is accurate and up to date.
• Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels and support inventory checks.
• Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization.

About the role

The Material Planner ensures the appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery. The role involves determining material specifications, creating and maintaining inventory schedules, and coordinating with internal departments and Procurement.
