Job summary

CuBE Packaging is seeking qualified Material Handlers to join our team. The role involves moving products with a counter-balance forklift, using an RF Scanner, and supporting tooling changes within a fast-paced warehousing environment.

Candidates should have at least Grade 12, forklift certification, 3 years of material handling, basic math and computer skills. ERP/SAP experience is a plus. A 12-hour rotating continental shift is required.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must hold forklift certification (propane and/or electric).
• Minimum 3 years of material handling experience.
• Basic math and attention to detail.
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces.
• Color differentiation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• ERP or SAP experience is an asset.
• Warehousing or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Shipping and receiving experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Move products and materials using a counter-balance forklift.
• Operate an RF scanner.
• Move plastic totes to the WIP area.
• Print tickets for totes in ERP system as required.
• Assist in coverage for breaks as required.
• Assist set-up techs to expedite tooling changes and learn the process.
• Grinding of scrap material.
• Housekeeping activities.

Responsible for:

• Moving products and material using a counter-balance forklift
• Using an RF Scanner
• Move all plastic totes to the WIP area
• Print tickets for totes in ERP system as required
• Assist in coverage for breaks as required
• Assist set-up techs to expedite tooling changes and learn the process
• Grinding of scrap material
• Housekeeping activities
• Following and complying with Cube Management System (CMS)

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must have forklift certification (propane and/or electric) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling
• Basic math and attention to detail
• Being able to maneuver in tight spaces
• Must be able to differentiate between colors and their shades
• Must have basic computer skills
• ERP or SAP experience an asset
• Must have warehousing and or manufacturing experience
• Shipping and receiving experience an asset
