GENERAL FUNCTION
This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, store and actual receiving and returning of packaging materials, tagging and transferring of Work in Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG). This role ensures efficient handling of inventory while maintaining safety standards and supporting production warehouse operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to transport goods.
- Handle RPM (Raw & Packing Materials) with care to prevent damage or contamination.
- Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory levels.
- Support production teams by ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.
- Assists Filling foreman in receiving and returning of packaging materials, and in releasing of finished goods.
- Validates quantity of packaging materials received and to be returned, and reports to immediate supervisor any discrepancy seen.
- Ensures finished goods follow proper palletizing and jack wrapped with location tags before transferring to the FG warehouse and reports to immediate superior any discrepancy seen.
- Write proper and correct location tags for every pallet of finished goods.
- In charge of transferring of raw materials and bulk tanks for TOLL.
- Assist pump utility in pumping of sorbitol.
- Transfer of garbage/waste from production.
- Assist in cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory audits.
- GMP housekeeping. Keeps the production warehouse clean and organized and hazard-free at all times.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies.
- Does tasks assign by his superior.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- At least High School Graduate with relevant experience or College level (Subjects with basic math and communication, preferably chemistry)/Graduate of 2 yrs. Vocational/Technical Course
TRAINING
- Good Manufacturing Practices
- Work Safety Training
- NC II Certification (Forklift Certification)
SKILLS
- Knows how to operate lifting equipment such as forklift.
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (Microsoft Application such as Word, Excel).
