Job summary

VSM Construction and Mill Development Corp is seeking a DPWH-accredited Materials Engineer to lead inspection and testing of construction materials across nationwide project sites in the Philippines.

The role requires ME1+ accreditation, a Civil Engineering degree, 2–3 years of materials engineering experience, and strong documentation skills. We are open to both Full-Time or Consultant / Project-Based engagements.

Qualifications

• DPWH-accredited Materials Engineer – ME1 or higher.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction/materials engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in construction materials testing, inspection, quality control, and documentation.
• Familiar with DPWH standards, specifications, testing procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Willing to be deployed to project sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee inspection and testing of construction materials.
• Ensure compliance with DPWH specifications and project quality requirements.
• Review material test results, laboratory reports, and quality documentation.
• Monitor material quality and proper handling/storage at project sites.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, suppliers, and testing laboratories.
• Maintain accurate materials testing and quality records.
• Provide technical recommendations on material compliance and quality issues.

ENGAGEMENT OPTIONS

We are open to either: FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT or CONSULTATIVE / PROJECT-BASED ENGAGEMENT
