Job summary

P.A. Alvarez Properties And Development Corporation is seeking a Materials Control Specialist to monitor requisitions, inventory levels, and coordination with purchasing and construction teams to ensure timely availability of materials according to project schedules and specs.

You will track PR, PO, and delivery statuses, oversee site warehouse inventory, and provide daily updates to keep timelines on track across multiple site locations in Bulacan and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 4- or 5-year engineering degree (Civil or Industrial).
• Proficient in MS Office and able to manage documentation.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control materials requisition of contractor vs. BOQ to ensure material issuance is within Bill of Quantities.
• Monitor materials status (PR vs. P.O. vs. Delivery) to ensure availability aligned with construction schedule.
• Monitor and evaluate materials inventory vs. site requirements to ensure materials are available at the right level and time based on monthly production.
• Check and evaluate materials delivery to ensure specification compliance with construction group requirements.
• Summarize construction timeline, prepare and encode Purchase Requisition (PR) based on OTC/Production per month to serve materials requirements based on Project Operating Plan.
• Provide daily updates for Material Delivery Schedule to support timeline compliance.
• Coordinate and follow-up with Purchasing Department on delivery status to track and prepare warehouse for incoming deliveries.
• Oversee and monitor site warehouse inventory and ensure compliance with Inventory Record Accuracy target.
• Provide material status updates and coordinate with PIC for irregularities and discrepancies on contractor material requisition.

About you

• Graduate of 4 or 5-year course, preferably Engineering (Civil or Industrial)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work-related experience
• Computer literate
• Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Willing to travel to different site locations
