Job summary

Nike, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Material Capability Engineer to design and scale quality capability programs for Leather and Synthetic Leather across APAC.

The role partners with suppliers, laboratories, and internal teams to uplift supplier readiness and ensure robust quality governance. Lead program design, accreditation frameworks, and scalable tooling while translating manufacturing expertise into practical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in materials manufacturing or related field.
• 8+ years in APAC FW manufacturing, quality engineering or supplier quality.
• Hands-on experience with suppliers and factory partners.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable material quality capability across Leather and Synthetic Leather.
• Design accreditation and audit frameworks for suppliers.
• Translate quality signals into capability insights.
• Scale programs with Nike stakeholders and third-party partners.
• Benchmark external practices and evaluate new quality tools.
