LAcarGUY's Kia Santa Monica dealership is seeking a Master Automotive Technician with at least 3 years of Kia dealership experience. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to high dealership standards and document work accurately, contributing to customer satisfaction and shop productivity.

• Minimum 3 years of Kia dealership experience as a Master Technician.
• ASE and other manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• High‑producing, efficient, and detail‑oriented.
• Commitment to quality, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns.
• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance to Kia standards.
• Accurately document all diagnostics, repairs, and services.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure timely workflow.
• Support and mentor technicians with technical expertise.

Responsibilities

The Master Automotive Technician is responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest dealership and manufacturer standards while ensuring optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns.
• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance to Porsche standards.
• Accurately document all diagnostics, repairs, and services.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure timely workflow.
• Support and mentor technicians with technical expertise.

Compensation

• The estimated hourly production rate range for this position is $33.80 - $50.00.
