Job Summary

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across enterprise systems. This role supports business operations by managing master data records, implementing data governance standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data for business processes and reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data records in enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

• Validate and verify master data requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards

• Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies or duplicate records

• Process requests for creating or modifying customer, vendor, material, product, pricing, or employee master data

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Collaborate with business units to gather and validate master data requirements

• Investigate and resolve master data issues in a timely manner

• Generate reports and analyze data quality metrics to support business decision-making

• Maintain documentation of master data processes, standards, and procedures

• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency
