Job summary

Citigroup in the Philippines seeks a senior Controls Governance professional to join our Cross-disciplinary Controls team. You will liaise with front office contacts and internal partners to strengthen governance and risk oversight across the business.

You will identify opportunities to optimise processes, implement improvements, and assess risk with emphasis on compliance and safeguarding assets. Collaboration across Markets will drive organisational objectives and clear, timely communications

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience within financial services, compliance or audit.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities.
• Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with front office contacts and maintain relationships with internal partners in the business.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimise and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Collaborating with various businesses across Markets to deliver on organisational objectives.
• Working as part of a global team to monitor controls, provide oversight and escalation issues in a timely manner.
• Developing communication and similar material for presentation to a wide variety of audiences from stakeholders, peers and management.
