The Brand Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of strategies that strengthen brand equity, increase awareness, and drive market performance. The role ensures consistency in positioning, messaging, and execution across all touchpoints. It plays a key part in implementing marketing campaigns, managing product lifecycles, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners. By taking ownership of brand initiatives, the position contributes to both the day‑to‑day management as well as long‑term growth of the brand.
Priority Tasks
Brand Strategy and Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand plans to drive awareness, equity, and market share.
- Define brand positioning, tone, and messaging aligned with industry trends, company objectives, and global direction.
- Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research to identify insights and growth opportunities.
- Formulate strategies to promote brand growth across various channels (supermarket, convenience, institutional, non‑traditional, e‑commerce, etc.).
Marketing Campaigns and Communication
- Conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, and in‑store platforms.
- Collaborate with digital agencies and/or internal creatives team to create compelling brand content for the target market across various social media and e‑commerce platforms.
- Work closely with sales, business development, activations, and creative teams on initiatives and promotions.
- Manage relationships with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and agencies to ensure timely and effective execution.
- Safeguard consistency of brand identity and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Product Management
- Create product forecasts and recommend order quantities based on historical data to optimize sales and inventory. (maintaining healthy stock levels while avoiding stockouts and minimizing stock aging)
- Lead product lifecycle management from ideation to launch and post‑launch review including pre‑launch investment planning as well as pipeline and post‑launch sales monitoring.
- Monitor product performance through sales, offtake, and availability data, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Act as a resource for brand and product education, as well as customer feedback, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to address concerns and resolve brand‑related issues.
- Accompanies Sales Team in selected meetings with key account stakeholders to present new opportunities or raise brand concerns as needed.
- Lead crisis management for negative product feedback and customer complaints.
- Partner with E‑commerce Customer Support, QA, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Finance to align on brand initiatives and resolve operational concerns.
Community Management
- Engages with FB, IG, and Tiktok Community by replying to relevant comments especially those with questions addressed to the brand.
- Answers all customer queries and concerns on Facebook messenger, Instagram DMs, Tiktok DMs, and official email addresses.
- Coordinates with e‑commerce specialists, customer service, sales, and operations team regarding customer inquiries and concerns as needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate and communicate with principals regarding brand activities, updates, and deliverables.
- Raise relevant product concerns and feedback with principal
- Prepare product forecasts and presentation materials as required by principals.
- Work with the sales team on brand investment requirements and ensure timely liquidation of supplier investments with proper supporting documents.
Brand Performance Management
- Updates and analyzes dashboards to monitor relevant brand metrics
- Prepare and present brand performance reports to management.
- Track and manage brand budgets, trade spend, and marketing expenses, ensuring accurate documentation.
Ad Hoc
- Other tasks assigned by the immediate superior and management as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in brand marketing, marketing strategy, or related roles.
- Knowledgeable of brand management principles, marketing strategy, and digital marketing trends.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
