Job summary

D2B is seeking a Marketing & Internal Sales Coordinator to work remotely for an Australian client involved in precast concrete products. You will manage marketing activities, generate new business, and support sales administration with a proactive approach.

The role requires strong graphic design and digital marketing skills, excellent English, and the ability to work independently. This is an independent contractor, remote role with international scope, focused on lead generation and CRM upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Marketing responsibilities: Develop monthly and quarterly plans and forecasts; design brochures and promotional material; manage social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook); research markets and prospects; create campaigns to generate sales enquiries; build brand awareness online.
• Internal Sales & Administration: Handle daily customer communications by email/phone; send EOIs and capability statements; research potential customers and procurement contacts; follow up quotations; assist with quotations and tender docs; maintain CRM and sales pipeline; coordinate sales communications and reporting; ensure opportunities are pursued.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The client is an Australian private company that manufactures precast concrete products for civil, infrastructure, mining, water, and renewable energy projects

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The role will combine marketing and internal sales, with the successful candidate working closely with the client to manage marketing activities, generate new business, and keep sales administration running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing responsibilities:

• Develop monthly and quarterly marketing plans and forecasts.
• Design brochures, graphics, advertisements and promotional material.
• Manage LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, including creating and scheduling posts.
• Research new markets, upcoming projects and potential customers.
• Develop campaigns to engage target industries and generate sales enquiries.
• Build brand awareness and grow our online presence.

Our target markets include infrastructure, civil construction, mining, quarries, data centres and government projects.

Internal Sales & Administration:

• Manage day-to-day customer communication via email and telephone.
• Prepare and send introductory emails, Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and capability statements.
• Research potential customers and identify relevant project and procurement contacts.
• Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries.
• Assist with preparing quotations, proposals and tender documentation.
• Maintain customer databases, CRM records and sales pipeline.
• Coordinate sales correspondence, reporting and general administration.
• Follow up sales leads and ensure opportunities are not missed.

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with strong graphic design and digital marketing skills, excellent written and spoken English, good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• B2B marketing or internal sales experience in construction, civil, manufacturing, infrastructure or mining would be highly regarded.
• Examples of our target customers include John Holland, Seymour Whyte, AWCON, Multiplex, Glencore, Yancoal, SEE Civil, BMD Group, DSA Civil, Fulton Hogan, Ausenco and ACCIONA.
• The candidate should be comfortable researching these businesses, identifying project managers, estimators and procurement contacts, sending targeted emails and EOIs, and following up on potential supply opportunities.
• Importantly, we need someone who can take ownership of their workload, produce their own marketing material, communicate professionally with customers, and proactively support sales and business development.
• We are not looking for someone who simply manages social media posts.
