Alpiq busca un Market Access Pricing Analyst para liderar procesos de fijación de precios y análisis de cartera en España, enfocándose en energías renovables y servicios intradía. Trabajarás en un entorno joven e internacional, colaborando entre Trading y Origination para definir estrategias de precios y gestionar riesgos.

Se valorará experiencia en fijación de precios, conocimiento del mercado intradía y servicios de balancing, y dominio de Python, SQL y Power BI.

Qualifications

• Formación universitaria en ingeniería, economía, finanzas o ciencia de datos.
• Dominio de análisis de riesgos y fijación de precios en energía.

Responsibilities

• Gestionar el proceso de fijación de precios y análisis de cartera.
• Analizar fundamentos del mercado de la energía, demanda, generación y precios de combustible.
• Desarrollar y mejorar modelos de valoración, previsión y riesgo.
• Colaborar con Trading y Origination para estrategias de precio competitivas.
• Preparar informes de riesgo y ad hoc siguiendo directrices internas.

You will join to a young, dynamic and international environment, where your role will be responsible for the pricing activities and portfolio analyses of Alpiq Energía España SAU in the field of managing third party renewable energy plants.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the pricing process. As part of the Intraday Team, you will act as a liaison between Trading and Origination, helping to put optimal pricing strategies into practice and ensure a flawless pricing process.
• Analyze power-market fundamentals, including load, generation mix, grid constraints and fuel prices.
• You will carry out detailed analyses of industry trends and regulatory changes in order to make well-founded decisions in the field of managing renewable energies in the Intraday market and balancing services.
• Build and maintain valuation, forecasting, and risk models.
• Optimizing existing pricing tools and adapting them to new requirements.
• Development of innovative pricing strategies together with the Trading and Origination teams, to strengthen Alpiq’s competitiveness.
• Continuous portfolio analysis and risk quantification to identify new business opportunities and support risk assessment and management.
• Preparation of ad-hoc and risk management reports in accordance with internal guidelines to ensure decision making.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on engineering, economics, finance or data science.
• Experience in pricing and risk analysis, ideally in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of the energy market, in particular intraday and balancing services power trading.
• User knowledge of Python, SQL & Power BI as well as strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and a structured way of working.
• High level in English (C1).
