Responsibilities
- Design Management & Coordination:
- Involve in tender phase to define requirements, review and validate technical offers from bidders, and lead technical alignment (Q&A list from suppliers).
- Lead and coordinate review of contractor design deliverables, track progress and define alternative solutions in case of design difficulties/delays.
- Ensure alignment across disciplines (avoid gaps, inconsistencies).
- Consolidate technical feedback and provide unified responses.
- Design and implement automation solutions for cleanroom and dry room environments.
- Understand the P&ID concept, Control Philosophy and Control Narrative.
- Integrate environmental control systems with PLC, SCADA, and BMS platforms.
- Define control architecture for environmental systems including HVAC, dehumidification units, and air handling units.
- Develop automation strategies for humidity, temperature and pressure control.
- Coordinate integration between process equipment automation and facility automation systems.
- Support digitalization initiatives, including dashboards and predictive monitoring.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for environmental control field.
- Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure designs and philosophy comply with Employer’s Requirements (ER), local regulations and codes, project standards and specifications.
- Identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
- Contractor Interface:
- Act as the primary technical interface and single point of contact with the contractor.
- Provide technical guidance to contractors and system integrators.
- Monitor design progress vs project milestones.
- Support the timely assessment of RFIs.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (facilities, equipment planning, logistics, production, HSE, maintenance, quality) on a daily basis.
- Integrate inputs from different departments into the ER.
- Ensure stakeholder requirements are properly reflected.
- Design Review Governance:
- Organize and lead design review meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions.
- Track comments, decisions, and open points.
- Risk & Change Management:
- Monitor design performance indicators and provide early warnings when critical activities show risk of delay (technical, regulatory, constructability).
- Escalate critical issues early, provide management summaries.
- Support mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical input to permitting activities (led by HSE/permitting), ensuring alignment with design.
- Support change management processes by assessing technical impacts (scope, cost, schedule, compliance).
Requirements
- Experience in Battery, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductor Clean & Dry room project management is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to and maintain flexibility with the facility juggling multiple projects.
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced competency with Design & 3D software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, Lumion, etc).
- Working knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Concur and SAP strongly desired.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Engineering.
