Our Clients in the Philippines seeks an experienced Business Development Manager – Insurance for Maritime to drive growth by acquiring and managing corporate accounts in shipping, logistics, and marine services. The role requires a background in selling insurance solutions to maritime clients and a proven track record in corporate development.

You must come from an insurance company with direct experience in marine insurance products, strong client acquisition skills, and an established maritime

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or account management within an insurance company.
• Direct experience selling insurance products to corporate maritime companies.
• Strong knowledge of marine insurance products and corporate insurance solutions.
• Experience handling corporate accounts in shipping, logistics, marine transportation, or maritime industries.
• Proven track record in new business acquisition and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Existing network within the maritime industry is a strong advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the maritime insurance portfolio.
• Identify, acquire, and manage corporate clients within the maritime industry.
• Promote and sell insurance solutions tailored to shipping companies, vessel owners, operators, manning agencies, freight forwarders, logistics companies, and other maritime organizations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and industry partners.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and risk assessments to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate insurance programs with prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new business opportunities within the maritime sector.
• Consistently achieve business development and revenue targets.
