Job summary

Gothong Southern Careers seeks an Engineering Sea (E-Sea) Support Head to lead marine engineering support, overseeing teams for vessel repairs, fabrication, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Reporting to the Shipmanagement Head, you will deploy skilled personnel and resources with Technical Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and timely response, minimizing downtime. The role requires coordinating field operations at shipyards and on-site facilities, with readiness for irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in marine, ship repair, or heavy equipment engineering with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fabrication repairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hydraulic technicians, machinists, electricians, welders, and other technical personnel.
• Coordinate with Technical Superintendents to execute repair plans and resolve issues.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and resources for field operations and emergency breakdowns.
• Monitor repair progress, timelines, and performance.
