Job summary

Austal Philippines is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical work on our vessels in Balamban, Cebu. The role involves installing cable trays and brackets, running and tying cables, and installing electrical equipment, with responsibility for termination and commissioning/testing of all systems.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in shipbuilding, a high school or technical diploma, and preferably a TESDA-certified electrician with safety trainings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in shipbuilding industry.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational training.
• Preferably TESDA certification or equivalent; safety trainings required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and secure electrical systems on vessels, including cable trays and brackets.
• Run and tie cables, install electrical equipment, terminate wiring.
• Commission and test all electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
