Job summary

Austal Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Fitter (revised to ATP) Batch 2 in Balamban to install and align major and secondary equipment on vessels, including drivelines. You will work with a mechanical team to support efficient production and high-quality assembly.

The role requires at least 2 years in shipbuilding, a technical education, and familiarity with machine shop practices. Laser alignment experience is a plus, with opportunities for development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in shipbuilding industry.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational training.
• Machine shop knowledge.
• Computer literacy.
• Preferably experience operating laser alignment equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and align main and secondary equipment into vessels, including drivelines.
• Work within a team to achieve minimum production time and maximum quality.
