Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience with manufacturing assembly processes and work instructions.
• Experience with PLM systems and configuration control.
• Understanding materials and tolerances of components.
• Strong project management and presentation skills.
• Continuous improvement through structured problem solving.
• Lean, Process Certification or Total Quality Management knowledge.
• Knowledge of New Product Introduction and Process Improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering assessment on issues stopping production.
• Optimizes production process and designs efficient systems.
• Determine root causes using statistical methods and recommend changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.
• Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and deploy new technology.
• Communicate effectively within and outside of own team.
• Influence decision makers with recommended actions.
• Work autonomously on smaller projects with moderate supervision.
• Adheres to EHS practices and site safety.
