Job summary

Prifood Corporation in Davao City seeks a Production Manager to plan, organize and control production processes, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will lead a high-performing team, implement SOPs, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement aligned with ISO, GMP and HACCP practices. This role reports to the Operations Head and requires a business degree plus 5+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• College degree in business administration or its equivalent.
• Industry relevant manufacturing experience minimum of 5 years.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Physically and mentally fit with good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of quality systems and ISO, GMP and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan a production schedule for the job and implement and control it.
• Determine material resources required and ensure availability before production.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently within quality and cost targets.
• Set and monitor quality standards and implement SOPs.
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing production team.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes and delivery quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Monitor performance, review staff, and drive continuous improvement.
