Ecolab Philippines Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support, coordinate, and manage day-to-day cleaning and sanitation operations across manufacturing facilities in Cavite.
You will lead sanitation programs, supervise a large workforce, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment. The role involves coordinating staffing, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining documentation and KPI reporting to support operational performance.
The Operations Associate is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and managing day-to-day cleaning and sanitation operations of one of Ecolab's customers. The position ensures effective execution of sanitation programs, workforce management, food safety compliance, operational performance, equipment readiness, chemical stewardship, safety leadership, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
As Ecolab's designated on-site operations representative, the Operations Associate provides leadership and direction to sanitation operations while ensuring alignment with approved cleaning programs, customer requirements, company policies, and established performance expectations. The role supports approximately 400 sanitation personnel across both manufacturing facilities.
Lead daily sanitation operations across assigned plants.
Coordinate manpower, schedules, and resources to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Resolve operational issues affecting safety, quality, and service delivery.
Supervise sanitation personnel and optimize workforce utilization.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
Support recruitment, coaching, training, and employee development.
Ensure effective implementation of sanitation programs, procedures, and standards.
Verify cleaning effectiveness and maintain required documentation.
Implement corrective actions and operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
Support inspections, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
Promote a strong food safety culture across operations.
Ensure safe and efficient use of sanitation equipment and chemicals.
Monitor equipment readiness, maintenance, inventories, and consumption.
Enforce workplace safety standards and support incident prevention.
Serve as the primary operational contact for site stakeholders.
Communicate operational performance, risks, and support requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports, records, and KPI tracking.
Identify and implement improvements in sanitation effectiveness, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Support adoption of best practices, technologies, and process enhancements.
Sustain improvements through standardization and performance monitoring.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related technical or business discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, sanitation operations, facilities management, food production, or a related environment
At least 2 years in a supervisory or operational leadership capacity
Demonstrated experience coordinating a large operational workforce
Experience with food safety systems, sanitation programs, audit support, customer coordination and operational reporting
