Job summary

Pinnacle Quality Food Inc., a subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation, seeks a Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily production operations in Danao, Cebu. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding staff, schedules, and budgets.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Food Technology or Engineering, plus at least five years in manufacturing management; a Master’s is preferred. Strong leadership, ERP knowledge, and lean manufacturing know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least five years of manufacturing/plant management experience in a multinational or top company.
• Knowledge of production management software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Danao, Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct production processes to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality standards.
• Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production staff, including performance management and shift scheduling.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance, and industry regulatory adherence (e.g., OSHA).
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is functional and calibrated.
• Deliver regular production reports, quality metrics, and budget updates to senior management.

They coordinate workflow, maintain equipment, and resolve technical issues to meet production goals. Key responsibilities include staffing, cost control, and implementing process improvements.

• Production Management:Planning, scheduling, and directing production processes to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality standards.

• Staff Leadership:Hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising production staff, including performance management and shift scheduling.

• Safety & Compliance:Ensuring the production floor adheres to all company SOPs, safety protocols, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA).

• Operational Efficiency:Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.

• Equipment Maintenance:Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is functional, repaired, and properly calibrated.

• Reporting:Delivering regular production reports, quality metrics, and budget updates to senior management.
  

Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent courses.

• Preferably completed a Master's Degree.

• With at least five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing or plant management in a multinational or local top company.

• Knowledgeable of production management software, ERP systems, and machinery.

• Possess strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities and decision-making skills.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
