Job summary

AXELUM RESOURCES CORP. in Medina, Misamis Oriental, is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Manager to lead expansion and continuous improvement initiatives for toll-manufacturing operations.

You will partner with major customers to identify opportunities, drive capacity growth, and deliver measurable results. You will coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D from discovery through implementation, report to the Cluster Head, Engineering, and mentor teams

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with PRC license.
• 7–10 years in manufacturing/engineering with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience in food/beverage manufacturing; UHT knowledge is a plus.
• Led plant expansion, capacity, or capital projects.
• Strong PM, business case, and cost-benefit analysis skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge; Yellow Belt required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Willing to travel for plant visits.

As our Manufacturing Excellence Manager, based in Medina, Misamis Oriental, you'll lead expansion and continuous improvement projects— with your top priority being a close partnership with our largest customers to identify opportunities, drive capacity growth, and deliver measurable results.

You'll be the go-to person connecting Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D, taking projects from opportunity identification through feasibility, implementation, and sustained impact — reporting to the Cluster Head, Engineering.

What You'll Do

• Lead expansion and continuous improvement projects.
• Build strong relationships with assigned customers and translate their priorities into executable Manufacturing Excellence initiatives.
• Identify improvement opportunities, run feasibility studies and root cause analysis, and build business cases for management approval.
• Develop project charters and implementation plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, QA, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) through execution.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep initiatives on time and on budget.
• Validate savings and operational improvements after go-live, and make sure customer commitments and KPIs are consistently met.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices, and help build a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
• Mentor project teams and support capability-building across the organization.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Food Engineering, or related field); PRC Licensed Engineer.
• 7–10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Background in food and beverage manufacturing; familiarity with UHT processing is a plus.
• A track record of leading plant expansion, capacity, or capital improvement projects.
• Strong project management, business case development, and financial/cost-benefit analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Six Sigma Yellow Belt required, Green Belt or PMP a plus).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and comfort engaging senior customer and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and conduct plant visits and inspections.
