Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in Valenzuela City is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Production Planner to determine what can realistically be produced, when, and what resources are required, while continuously improving factory productivity.

This role should become your numbers person for manufacturing, developing the master production schedule, conducting time-and-motion studies, establishing standard times and KPIs, and generating dashboards to support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering degree (minimum).
• Experience in production planning and capacity planning.
• Experience in time-and-motion study and work measurement.
• Ability to develop standard times.
• Experience in manpower planning and process mapping.
• Strong skills in bottleneck analysis and lean manufacturing.
• Experience with 5S and root-cause analysis.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to develop KPIs and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop the master production schedule.
• Convert project deadlines into backward production schedules.
• Conduct time-and-motion studies.
• Establish standard man-hours for manufacturing operations.
• Measure actual vs standard production hours.
• Determine machine capacity.
• Determine manpower capacity.
• Calculate factory loading.
• Forecast production bottlenecks.
• Create weekly/monthly capacity forecasts.
• Establish production lead times.
• Monitor WIP.
• Develop production dashboards.
• Measure productivity per department/process.
• Analyze downtime.
• Analyze overtime.
• Analyze rework and waste.
• Develop manpower requirements based on workload.
• Improve factory layout and material flow.
• Implement Lean/5S/process improvement.
• Develop routing for different product families.
• Establish production KPIs.
• Work with Production Manager on recovery scenarios.
• Provide management with independent production-performance data
