Job summary

SID Global Solutions in Metro Manila is seeking a QA Tester to validate software quality through rigorous testing across functional, integration, and UAT stages.

You will review docs, create test cases, execute tests, and collaborate with Dev and BA teams to ensure reliable releases; strong SQL and data/ETL testing experience is valued.

The role requires independent work, good communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to estimate and report automation status.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to innovate and implement new ideas.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Postman and Azure data tools familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specs, and user docs to determine tests to develop.
• Create test scenarios and test cases with Team and BA.
• Execute test cases (Functional, SIT, Regression) and participate in UAT.
• Document scripts with comments to explain test logic.
• Work with Development to capture and report Unit Test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with teams.
• Knowledgeable in SQL and can write scripts.
• Experience with data testing and ETL pipelines.

• 1. Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation for the
• tests to be developed
• 2. Create test scenarios and test cases and brainstorm with Team and BA
• 3. Execute all the test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), also participate in UAT
• 4. Document scripts with comments to provide insight to test logic
• 5. Work with the Development team to capture and Unit Test results
• 6. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams
• 7. Knowledgeable in SQL (can create and understand) scripts
• 8. With proven experience in data and ETL pipeline testing

Must Have Skills & Experience

• 1. Good understanding of SDLC process and Testing Methodologies
• 2. Should have good experience in providing estimates and status updates on automation scripts
• 3. Excellent problem-solving skills
• 4. Willingness to innovate and implement new ideas
• 5. Should have a good Presentation skills
• 6. Should be able to work independently.
• 7. Knowledgeable in Postman + Azure Data Factory / Azure Databricks (Nice to have).
