Job summary

Private Advertiser in Manila seeks a data QA tester to ensure quality across Data Warehouse/Data Lake, ETL/ELT, and analytics projects. You will validate data transformations, write complex SQL, and collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, SMEs and Product Owners to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.

You will lead test design, prepare SIT/UAT plans, and report testing metrics. The role requires SDLC understanding, strong presentation skills, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL/ELT and Analytics testing.
• Experience validating complex source-to-target data transformations and business rules.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex validation and reconciliation queries.
• Experience validating source-to-target data transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
• Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience planning and executing performance, scalability and large-volume data testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC process and Testing Methodologies.
• At least one year of hands-on Databricks testing.
• Ability to provide estimates and status updates on automation scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to innovate and implement new ideas.
• Should have good presentation skills.
• Should be able to work independently.
• With data project experience.

Job description

Qualifications

1. Comply with the ITG Quality Framework as established by TCOE

2. Ensure test processes are followed according to the SDLC and TSG Test Process

3. Collaborate with Project Managers and Platform Owners to ensure quality delivery and gather resource demands

4. Ability to engage with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business SMEs and Product Owners to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.

5. Involve in test design preparation and walkthroughs to stakeholders

6. Prepare for testing kick-off meetings

7. Define test scenarios covering different integration points between system components/modules

8. Document the overall project test approach and SIT test plan as defined in the "Project Test Approach and SIT Test Plan" document

9. Prepare User Acceptance Test Plan as outlined in the "User Acceptance Test Plan" document

10. Manage and document the change, version, and release processes as well as defect management, testing metrics, and test reporting as per the "User Acceptance Test Plan" document

11. Oversee the Test Automation Toolkit and ensure its proper implementation as described in the "TSG Test Automation Toolkit" presentation

Must Have Skills & Experience
