Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Manila seeks a senior Design Manager/Lead to drive civil and structural design across projects for ANZ assignments. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure designs meet regulatory standards, and manage BIM resources across engagements.

You will coordinate with stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand, and global offices, guiding delivery quality, timelines, and budgets while advancing innovative design solutions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Min. 12+ years’ professional experience in transportation infrastructure design delivery.
• Extensive knowledge with Austroads, State Highway Geometric Design, Earthquake Engineering and Building Codes.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects through full lifecycle with quality, time and budget adherence.
• Experience coordinating multi-country teams and complex, large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Civil/Structural design across project lifecycle.
• Lead QA/QC on technical delivery of projects.
• Oversee projects from conception to completion ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Plan and coordinate engineering and BIM resources across projects.
• Contribute to project and design management within team scope.
• Lead quality checking of designs, drawings and deliverables.
• Provide input to man-hour estimates, cost tracking and proposals.
• Drive innovative use of new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Maintain client-centric relationships with ANZ counterparts and global teams.
• Represent and promote the business with lead countries and industry bodies.
