Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a senior Civil Design lead to oversee the design, development, and production of Civil Design Services across the project lifecycle. You will guide quality assurance, lead documentation, and ensure compliance with regional and national regulations while coordinating with Australian counterparts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Chartered/registered professional.
• Experience with Australian Code and international standards.
• Experience leading large teams.
• Ability to review complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate engineering and BIM resources across projects.
• Contribute to project and design management within the team’s scope.
• Lead and manage quality checking of designs, drawings, and deliverables.
• Be responsible for the technical delivery on projects.
• Provide input to man-hour estimates, cost tracking, and proposal development.
• Maintain a client-centric mindset with Australian counterparts.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Australia and global offices.
• Support expectation management and issue resolution as required.
• Monitor project utilization against team targets.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to regional office development and strategic goals.
• Contribute to growth and performance appraisal of people in the region.
• Assist in 3-year regional strategic plans including market and people development
• Assist in analysing regional performance (financial and non-financial).
