Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a highly analytical Risk Control Specialist to identify fraud patterns in card-based payment flows and design risk control strategies. You will investigate suspicious transactions and collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and banking partners to maintain a secure payment ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in payment risk or fraud prevention, with fluency in Mandarin and English, and strong SQL/Python skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on risk control experience in payments.
• Experience with card networks rules and cross-border payments.
• Proficient in SQL data extraction and analysis.
• Knowledge of AML detection and risk scoring.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English required.

Responsibilities

• Risk analysis and pattern identification across card-based flows; produce risk analyses.
• Design, deploy, and tune risk control strategies (blacklists/whitelists, rule engines, risk scoring).
• Conduct in-depth analysis of suspicious transactions and feed findings into playbooks.
• Monitor core metrics like hit rate, false positives, and fraud loss; iterate accordingly.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, banks, and card networks to resolve risk issues.
