Job summary

PLDT Global Inc. is seeking a Mandarin-speaking NOC Engineer to join the Network Operations Center and monitor network and service performance.

You will respond to alerts, coordinate incident resolution with clients, and maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions. The role requires fluency in Mandarin and English, strong communication skills, and experience with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• At least 2 years in NOC, SRE, Network Operations, or similar.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for technical topics.
• Experience with network/service monitoring tools (SolarWinds, ELK, Prometheus, etc).
• Experience using ticketing/ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Working knowledge of routers, LAN switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Basic Windows/Linux server administration knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network, systems, and services for availability and performance.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service issues promptly.
• Provide technical support and coordinate incident resolution with clients.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers about issues and concerns.
• Perform routine service and health checks; escalate issues as needed.
• Manage incidents, requests, and service tickets in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with internal Network, IT, Engineering, and Operations teams.
