Job summary

PlayTime Entertainment is seeking a software-focused professional to design, develop, deploy, and support business applications.

You will work with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, maintain documentation, and help ensure smooth releases. A strong emphasis on SQL, REST APIs, and debugging techniques will be part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in software development or application development; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in application support or system troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream back-end programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, logs, and databases for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business applications including content publishing platforms, monetization and advertising systems, and internal tools.
• Develop and maintain application components using standard coding practices and version control.
• Provide day-to-day application support to internal users and business teams with issue resolution and escalation when needed.
• Manage and close assigned support tickets with timely user updates and documentation of solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and other teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform self-testing and basic functional testing prior to deployment and coordinate for releases.
• Monitor availability and health of applications, investigate issues, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Assist in incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Use SQL to validate data, perform basic queries, and support data-related troubleshooting.
• Support data extraction and reporting in collaboration with the Data Team.
• Continue learning new technologies and improve support processes and user experience.
