What will you do?
As Manager, Enterprise Applications, you provide senior leadership for resources who work across Aurecon’s core application enablement services, ensuring the capabilities that underpin enterprise platforms are scalable, standardised, secure, and delivered to a high level of quality in alignment with the Aurecon Blueprint. You build and continuously improve the delivery capability across Finance Systems, People Systems, Project Systems, Enterprise Systems and Client Operations for platforms such as Workday, Dynamics, Proteus and ServiceNow.
Organisational Leadership
- Ensures delivery processes, resource utilisation and engineering practices support predictable and high‑quality outcomes and service performance.
- Enables effective planning, sequencing, execution and IT engineering capability across enterprise platforms in partnership with Product Leads.
Integrated Delivery
- Enable integrated delivery through capability enablement across applications and squads.
- Contributes to dependency awareness across other applications and products through collaboration with Product Leads and PPM’s.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Acts as a senior IT partner to the relevant business stakeholders, supporting business strategy with clear technology priorities, roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
- Aligns priorities across Product Leaders, Function Leaders and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and high quality.
Governance & Risk
- Responsible for platform risk, lifecycle management and compliance outcomes.
- Ensures platforms meet service, security, regulatory, architectural and audit requirements.
- Embeds governance, delivery controls and quality assurance practices that scale across platforms.
- Proactively identifies, manages and mitigates delivery and operational risks.
Team & Capability Leadership
- Builds and sustains a high‑performing, collaborative team culture across enterprise platforms.
- Owns workforce planning, ensuring the right skills, capacity and onshore/offshore balance.
- Leads capability uplift, career development and performance management.
- Actively manages capacity risk and key person dependencies to ensure sustainable delivery.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in managed services, end‑to‑end IT delivery, application operations, workforce management, quality assurance and operational governance within enterprise technology environments.
- Experience leading persistent delivery across products and technologies with sound knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps practices and contemporary ways of working.
- Structured approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and delivery of outcomes across products, technologies and practices.
- Strong leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring, performance management and workforce capability uplift to support high‑performing teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and support change across a complex organisation and fast‑paced IT environment.
