Job summary

WalterMart Community Mall is seeking a motivated Management Trainee to join a structured rotational program across Leasing and Accounting. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and processing lease agreements and renewals.
• Coordinate with tenants on leasing inquiries and documentation.
• Support lease administration: tracking terms, expirations, renewals.
• Conduct market research to support leasing and pricing strategies.
• Assist site visits, unit inspections, and tenant onboarding.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting AR/AP processes.
• Help reconcile leasing revenue with accounting records.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support budgeting and variance analysis for leased properties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Management Trainee to join our organization through a structured rotational program spanning our Leasing and Accounting teams. This role is designed to build a well-rounded foundation in property/asset leasing operations and core accounting functions, preparing the trainee for a future management or specialist role within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing Function

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and processing lease agreements and renewals




• Coordinate with prospective and existing tenants/clients regarding leasing inquiries, documentation, and requirements




• Support lease administration tasks including tracking lease terms, expiration dates, and renewal schedules




• Conduct market research to support leasing and pricing strategies




• Assist with site visits, unit inspections, and tenant onboarding processes




• Maintain accurate and updated leasing records and databases

Accounting Function

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, billing statements, and collection summaries related to leased properties/accounts




• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking




• Help reconcile leasing revenue with accounting records




• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities




• Support budget preparation and variance analysis




• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
