About the role

We are seeking a Management Trainee to join ABest Express Inc. in Novaliches, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position designed to prepare you for a successful career in store management within the retail and consumer products sector. As a Management Trainee, you will work alongside experienced managers to develop comprehensive skills in store operations, team leadership, customer service excellence, and business performance management. Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling
• Supporting the store management team in implementing company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Learning and applying effective customer service techniques to ensure positive customer experiences
• Assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance management under the guidance of senior managers
• Contributing to sales targets and store performance by promoting products and engaging with customers
• Monitoring store inventory, managing stock rotation, and reporting discrepancies to management
• Supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns and visual merchandising initiatives
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency within store operations
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant store environment in accordance with company standards
• Developing knowledge of retail business systems, point-of-sale technology, and reporting tools

What we're looking for

• A qualification in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience in a retail environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
• Proven customer service excellence and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Competence in basic numeracy and attention to detail, particularly with regard to stock control and financial reporting
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to learn and develop, with an appetite for taking on new challenges and responsibilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Knowledge of retail systems and technology is advantageous but not essential
