Job summary

Morgan McKinley seeks a finance professional in Metro Manila to own timely month-end reporting for accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets within a regional setup.

Based in the Philippines, the role starts onsite for six months before transitioning to a hybrid pattern, aligned with UK/EMEA time zones. You’ll work with Oracle, Excel, SmartView/ASO, Hubble and OneStream to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• This role is suited for a numerate, part-qualified accountant with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large data sets.
• Experience with Oracle would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly end reporting for accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Manage regional fixed asset register and asset work-in-progress, including depreciation and impairment.
• Support monthly cost reporting with forecasting insights and cost trends.
• Maintain robust control with reconciliations and balance sheet substantiations.
• Approve purchase orders and advise on CAPEX vs OPEX treatment.
• Drive month-end process improvements with Finance Systems and IT partnerships.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and year/half-year reporting.
• Respond to External Audit queries and prepare supporting schedules.
