Job summary

Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking a Management Accountant in the Philippines to support monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analyses across departments in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

You will collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to deliver insights, build financial models, monitor costs, and drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or cost analysis.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling, reporting tools, or BI platforms is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including P&L statements, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards.
• Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes by consolidating inputs from various departments.
• Prepare financial models and comparative analyses to evaluate actual performance against budget and forecast.
• Monitor manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and overhead costs; ensure proper cost allocation across departments.
• Provide financial insights to commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to support operational decisions.
• Assist in reviewing investment proposals and evaluating project performance from a financial standpoint.
• Participate in initiatives to automate reporting and improve budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial and operational data to facilitate management decision-making. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting of budgets, forecasts, cost analyses, and monthly performance reports. The position also contributes to financial discipline, cost management, and strategic initiatives across departments in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, variance analyses, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards.


• Analyze cost and expense drivers to support business reviews and recommend opportunities for cost control.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes by consolidating inputs from various departments.


• Prepare financial models and comparative analyses to evaluate actual performance against budget and forecast.

Cost Monitoring and Allocation

• Monitor manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and overhead costs.


• Ensure appropriate cost allocation across departments, products, and cost centers.

Business Partnering

• Provide financial insights and data to commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to support operational and business decisions.


• Assist in reviewing investment proposals and evaluating project performance from a financial standpoint.

Financial Accuracy and Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accruals, cost allocations, and interdepartmental charges.


• Comply with internal financial controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.

Process Improvement

• Participate in initiatives to automate reporting and improve the efficiency of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Maintain and enhance Excel-based financial models and business intelligence (BI) tools used in regular reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.


• At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or cost analysis.


• CPA certification is an advantage.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is an advantage.
