Job summary

SM Supermalls (Shopping Center Management Corporation) is seeking a Building Administration Officer to keep our mall in top condition, with responsibilities spanning janitorial oversight, facilities inspections, safety governance, and tenant construction assistance.

Ideal candidates hold relevant engineering or building maintenance qualifications, with at least two years of experience and a licensed engineer preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of work experience in building/property administration or a similar field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge in building/property administration, facilities management, housekeeping services, and engineering maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial, landscaping, minor repairs, and pest control activities; ensure compliance with policies and budget limits
• Conduct regular inspections of mall facilities and utilities; coordinate repairs, monitor consumption, and ensure timely reporting and billing
• Act as Safety Officer; manage incident response, coordinate with relevant departments, and ensure full compliance with safety procedures and documentation standards
• Assist in tenant construction and renovation processes; review plans, inspect sites, and help resolve compliance issues
• Serve as backup for key custodian and warehouse personnel for emergency item handling
