Job summary

WalterMart Community Mall in Metro Manila is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee building facilities and systems onsite. The role focuses on preventive maintenance planning and safety, coordinating with contractors and responding to tenant needs.

Applicants should be a BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, registered, with at least 6 months in facility management. Newly licensed engineers are encouraged to apply; willing to work Saturdays and holidays is required. Work setup is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all store facilities and equipment of the building are in good working conditions at all times.
• Implements standard maintenance program with emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Communicates with supervisory personnel to discuss and resolve maintenance & safety matters.
• Responds to tenant and customer needs regarding technical matters.
• Attends to lessees’ complaints or requests on maintenance services.
• Supervises contract agency workers and other maintenance service contractors.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

• Supervises closely all contractual agency workers and other maintenance service contractors.

• Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Must be a Registered Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

• At least 6 months and up working experience in the related field specializing in building/facility management. Newly licensed are encouraged to apply.

• Must have good technical and management skills & deep understanding in mall/retail industry is a plus.

• Willing to work on Saturdays and Holidays.

Work Setup: Onsite

Working Schedule: Mon - Sun

Please note that shift schedules are not fixedand may vary depending on operational needs.

Rest day will be on a weekday, most likely Wednesday or Thursday.
