The successful candidate will oversee tax accounting, prepare filings, and collaborate with external consultants to stay ahead of evolving tax laws affecting the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies, tax accounting, and tax filing/reporting to optimise tax paid and ensure compliance with group policy and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain tax records, returns, reports, and other tax-related materials.
• Recommend alternative tax treatments to minimise tax liability using tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct research and analysis of existing and upcoming tax legislation to support AIA's tax planning and strategy.
• Engage with external tax consultants to stay abreast of tax developments and provide tax advice to internal stakeholders.
