ALPLA INC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician-Operator to install, commission, and maintain mechanical and electrical parts of manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor operation, and ensure optimal machine performance with minimal downtime.
You will also participate in changeover activities for EBM, ISBM, and IM-cap, record production data, and uphold ISO/Food Safety standards in a fast-paced facility.
1. Install, commission, and maintain the mechanical and electrical parts of machines.
2. Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustment, repair and maintenance, and monitor the operational state of all the machines.
3. Test or modify developmental or operational electrical machinery or electrical control equipment.
4. Ensure that all the machines are running to its optimum capacity with reduced downtime.
5. Trouble shooting and repairs (e.g. resetting of alarm, clogged caps / bottles, clean sensor, clean mold, clean water and air filters, tighten loose screws and bolts of mold, handling parts).
6.Participates in EBM, ISBM and IM-cap change over work activity.
7. Checks machine and periphery equipment conditions.
8. Records hourly production output, waste, downtime, and reasons for downtime.
9. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to machine downtimes and quality issues .
10. Weighs scraps, encodes into ALPLA Waste system, labels the waste containers.
11. Observes Safety, 5S and GMP in production areas.
12. Fully complies with Food Safety standards and ensures observance of ISO standards in all related tasks and responsibilities.
