Job summary

CBRE GWS IFM PHILS. CORP. seeks a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will provide preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with equipment installations under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange straightforward information clearly
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail
• Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
