Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Basic work routines and standards; follow procedures and exchange straightforward information.
• Good communication skills for exchanging information clearly.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team output by following defined duties and tasks under supervision.
