Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy management as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

You will perform inspections, diagnose problems, install and modify equipment, and ensure safety compliance while following established procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose problems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Adhere to defined procedures and communicate clearly.
