Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems under supervision.

You will conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, assist with installations, review work orders, support energy management, and ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange straightforward information.
• Deliver outputs under close supervision and guidance.
