GTYCOON LOGISTICS CORPORATION is seeking a meticulous Truck Mechanic / Maintenance & Auto Electrician in Laguna to inspect, maintain, and repair fleet trucks. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure roadworthy, safe operations across the fleet.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, solid knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or College Level.
  • 2–3 years of relevant truck/fleet maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive/truck electrical and wiring systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Ability to use automotive hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of trucks and fleet vehicles.
  • Inspect engines, transmissions, clutch systems, differentials, driveshafts, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems.
  • Perform scheduled oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, fluid checking, and other routine maintenance.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair requirements.
  • Repair, adjust, replace, or overhaul defective and worn-out mechanical components.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair the electrical systems of trucks and fleet vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot starting and charging systems, including batteries, starters, alternators, and related components.
  • Respond to truck breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records for every assigned truck.
  • Ensure trucks are safe and roadworthy before they are released for operation.

About the role

The Truck Mechanic / Maintenance & Auto Electrician is responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and electrical servicing of company-owned and/or assigned trucks and fleet vehicles. The position ensures that all trucks are safe, reliable, roadworthy, and operational by maintaining mechanical, electrical, and related vehicle systems. The position is also responsible for responding to breakdowns, conducting corrective repairs, maintaining service records, and minimizing vehicle downtime.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of trucks and fleet vehicles

About you
  • High School Graduate or College Level
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in truck, diesel, automotive, fleet maintenance, or auto electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of automotive/truck electrical and wiring systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical problems
  • Ability to use automotive hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call when required
  • Can work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
