Job summary

Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technical team and drive reliability across our production lines.

You will design and oversee maintenance strategies, improve OEE, and coordinate with engineering to prevent downtime. The role requires at least five years in equipment maintenance with two years in leadership, a engineering degree, CMMS proficiency, and strong PLC and motor control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in equipment maintenance with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with CMMS, PLC troubleshooting, and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to optimize OEE.
• Lead and mentor Electrical & Mechanical Specialists, Technicians.
• Monitor critical plant equipment and utility systems for reliability.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHS compliance across maintenance activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs.
• Apply hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and PLC knowledge to diagnose issues.
• Use MTTR/MTBF metrics for reporting and decision making.
• Coordinate with Production/Engineering Manager to align maintenance with production.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintenance Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance (PPM/CM) schedules aligned with production needs to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and supervise a technical team (Electrical & Mechanical Specialists, Technicians), providing advanced guidance, delegating tasks, and fostering accountability.

• Equipment & Utility Monitoring: Continuously inspect critical plant equipment and utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, power) to ensure 100% operational reliability and initiate timely repairs.

• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) across all maintenance activities.

• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage spare parts and tools inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and control maintenance costs.

• Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving: Apply deep mechanical (hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment) and electrical (PLCs, motor control, power distribution) knowledge to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.

• Data-Driven Operations & Reporting: Utilize maintenance metrics (MTTR, MTBF) for decision-making and ensure complete, timely submission of technical reports, work orders, and historical logs.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as the main technical liaison to the Production/Engineering Manager to align maintenance tasks with manufacturing operations and preserve business continuity.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in equipment maintenance, with at two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing plant.least

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Skills and Certification:

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, and motor controls.

• Proficiency in using and managing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Certifications in safety (e.g., "BOSH, COSH") or specialized equipment (e.g., "Boiler operation, refrigeration") are a significant plus.
